General Motors Financial Company Inc. announced net income of $124 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared to $109 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011.
Consumer loan originations were $1.5 billion for the quarter, compared to $1.5 billion for the quarter ended June 30, and $1.4 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The outstanding balance of consumer finance receivables totaled $10.9 billion at Sept. 30.

The automaker sold 126,185 vehicles, which makes last month the company’s best October sales result since 2007.
