When Collection Auto Group learned it could save more than it would spend to light its lots with new outdoor LED fixtures, the Ohio-based auto dealer struck a deal with GE Lighting. GE's energy-efficient ecomagination Evolve LED Area Lights will reduce Collection Auto Group's five-year lighting expense by nearly $400,000 as the result of using 660,000 fewer kilowatt hours (kWhs) while virtually eliminating upkeep for years to come.

| Toyota Recalls Hybrids for Steering Issues |

Toyota is recalling 669,705 model year 2004-2009 Prius vehicles manufactured August 5, 2003, through March 30, 2009. The affected vehicles have a steering intermediate extension shaft assembly built with metal splines that complete the connection from the steering wheel to the steering gear. These splines may have been manufactured with an insufficient hardness.

| Sandy Has Little Impact on Markets |

The impact of Hurricane Sandy on the national new- and used-car markets may be more modest than what's currently being reported, according to data and analysis from experts at both AutoTrader.com and Kelley Blue Book.
Current estimates state between 200,000 and 300,000 new and used vehicles were destroyed as a result of the storm; however, that only represents 0.1 percent of the more than 240 million registered vehicles on the road.
