TrueCar Inc. debuted its "Smart Consumer" print and TV ad campaign, as well as an entirely new consumer experience developed in cooperation with the TrueCar Dealer Council and auto industry experts. The $7.7 million campaign, developed by DW+H in Santa Monica, Calif., includes multiple formats, is focused to position TrueCar as a national brand and is being delivered in all U.S. media markets simultaneously.

CarMax Inc., officially opened its first auto superstore in Denver, Colo., located at 2600 West 104th Avenue in Federal Heights.
The store is more than 27,000 square-feet, employs more than 65 associates and stocks about 300 used vehicles of nearly every make and model.

VinTek announced it is assisting automotive lenders in Georgia with compliance with finalized ELT legislation.
In October, the Georgia Department of Revenue's Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) published rules regarding the ELT portion of HB 865 that was passed in March and signed by the governor in May. Any automotive lender recording more than 500 liens per year on Georgia vehicle titles is required to choose a vendor and implement an ELT program by Jan. 1, 2013.
