| Finance Department Drives Repeat Business |

 There is a strong relationship between an exceptional vehicle loan or lease servicing experience and customer intent to use the same finance provider again, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Consumer Financing Satisfaction Study.
The study also finds that there is a minimal relationship with the servicing experience and customer intent to use the same dealership for a future vehicle purchase or lease, whereas the in-dealership experience significantly impacts likelihood to return to the same dealer.

| Honda Recalls 800,000 Vehicles |

 Honda is recalling 807,161model year 2003 and 2004 Pilot and Odyssey and 2003 through 2006 Acura MDX passenger vehicles manufactured from Nov. 26, 2001, through Aug. 30, 2006.
The interlock lever of the ignition switch may deform, which can allow the interlock function of a vehicle with an automatic transmission to be defeated.

| Wholesale Prices See Softening |

 Wholesale prices moved down last month, according to ADESA Analytical Services.
Average wholesale used vehicle prices in November resumed the general softening they have shown since Spring, after what may turn out to be only an upward "blip" in October due to Hurricane Sandy.

| CarMax Opens Second Denver Store |

 CarMax, Inc. has officially opened its second superstore in the Denver area.
The newest CarMax is located at 5850 South Broadway in Littleton, Colo. The store is 27,000-square-feet, occupies more than nine acres, employs more than 65 associates and stocks 250 to 350 used vehicles.
